@Arthroverts it's a close tie between Arbanitis from Idiopidae and Xamiatus from Nemesiidae for me. I've only kept a single mature male of the latter, but that one specimen just got the venom in my system and Ive been madly searching for more since. Just a giant black spider with a silver glittery shimmer. Pretty sure it was the size of my mature male Phlogius Strennus, over 100mm DLS, and I loved him to bits for the 4 months or so I had him.
Xamiatus Ilarra
It's funny, this talk about concurrent molting and seasonal changes in behavior. I have a hole that I've been feeding for the last three months - a smaller Cataxia sp - that surfaced this morning. She looks light of colour like a few days post molt, but, very thick as if she's ready for premolt - I know where the crickets have been disappearing to.
I might take the opportunity for a rehouse. I was never happy with her substrate depth. Then again, she must have been happy enough.
@Arthroverts don't ask me, I have never been able to locate a wild wishbone spider despite repeatedly searching in areas I know they come from, such as the above X.Ilarra. The property owner sent it to me thinking it was a male funnelweb, although it was about 3x the size
