@Vanessa I'm having such a hard time with this one. It's a little over an inch, and I wasn't able to figure out much from the last molt. I don't want to be too hopeful, but what do you think? Mine seems to have a few of the same features but I don't want to get my hopes up.
@CommanderBacon I'm going with female. I will keep an eye on my male and see if I can get a photo of him as well - just to show the differences between the two.
Size wise - both of mine are the same size. So I wouldn't use that as an indication of sex. Not at these sizes, anyway.
@Vanessa Thank you! I appreciate it. I've been scouring for reference photos and looking through scientific papers, but unless I want to look at tibial spurs and palpal bulbs, they aren't much help.
My resources for sexing the last molt were unfortunately limited to a poor quality 12x lens, so I didn't find anything. It was good practice, in any case.
This baby hangs out on the side of the enclosure all the time just like you said it would, which makes ogling the ventral bits a little easier, at least!
