Well saying first time in 20 years isn't really that accurate. As you wrote you've been using bowls for 6 months, so for almost 20 years you'd never be able to see them drink!!
Aha @viper69 only since joining Arachnoboards have I used them. Previous to this I always kept a corner that I would mist with either leaf litter or stones where the droplets would catch and yes I would see my inverts drinking drops from these.
It was around 2.30am when I took this (I'm sure I'm not the only one that checks inverts on those midnight toilet breaks)
