Great colour, what size is that one

@Rhino1 with her bolty attitude it's hard to say as this is the first time I've seen her outside fully. I'd have to guess about 35-37mm fangs to spinnerets. I've never seen another Arbanitis that is covered head to toe in gold this, I think she surpasses even my golden wishbone for the strong yellow shine.

When I first got her she actually had very strong blue, almost Avic hairs on her legs which she's traded for a sunset red, but unfortunately they dull out in her premolt like above. I'll be looking at getting a male for her this summer once the MM's start rolling in from my favourite private property owner

The iridescence on her is awesome. Is that from mostly flash or is she vibrant in normal light?

@RoachCoach it is quite visible without any light, but doesn't have much metallic shine if not. This specimen has a stronger yellow colour in the gold than my other species from the same genus.

In my personal opinion, this is probably the most visually beautiful genus of trapdoors in the world. That may change in the future, but I think they are absolutely stunning

That large carapace is my weakness. I know they are very dangerous. But Jesus Sneezus those glittery/deep black colors are bonkers.

@RoachCoach believe it or not, these are basically harmless. All known and lab tested Australian trapdoor species have mild venom
