This plant bites back!

One of my Drosera capensis (Cape Sundew) caught an unfortunate mosquito on its sticky tendrils. Love my collection of bugs but love my carnivorous plants that eat the more bothersome ones!
@BuzzSwole Great plants for your T room for sure! @Margot J They are awesome, I've a D. spatulata too and a whole bunch of Nepenthes and Serracenias as well. @Ztesch never tried growing from seed, most of my collection comes from PredatoryPlants.com always got healthy shipments and they have a great selection of in-house Nepenthes hybrids.

From what I read they are pretty easy to germinate from seed. It was only a couple of bucks.

Pretty sure that's a crane fly, they aren't the blood sucking annoyances we all hate. But they are plentiful all around and even in Australia I'd get them all the time on my sundews lol

Thanks a lot (re. sarcasm) for fueling my simmering interest in carnivorous plants, and just when I thought I got s grip on buying spiders...sheesh. Man, they’re cool looking!
