I noticed her burrow was a little too shallow for her to fit inside. So I scooped out two or three handfuls or substrate to give her a little more room. Low and behold, this morning, she's dug all the way to the bottom of the enclosure and awoke to a massive mound of substrate! I couldn't be happier
She was a good 4 inches inside when I took this. Almost had to stick my phone into the burrow to get the shot. But I'm so so so happy. After scooping out the substrate, I smoothed everything out and pressed down super hard inside the burrow to make sure she had the necessary clearance, and then after her daily rampage through the enclosure, evening came and the gears began to turn, and sure enough, she went in, and came back out with a mouthful of substrate. She was hard at work all night. The amount of substrate she moved was incredible, and half of her water dish was gone when I woke up. Truly amazing to witness.
