Coastal Arbanitis sp. setup

15mm false bottom with a 50:50
dune sand:cocopeat mixture, topped with the moss bundles I found them in at the beach
Only reason I'm bothering with a false bottom is because these were found on a small cliff next to a freshwater spring, so they will likely need very high moisture, even more than average trapdoors. I would reccomend against using false bottoms for trapdoors that don't live in such saturated environments

Is that black PVC pipe meant to be for a hide or something else? I have always wondered why some people don't use like a 2" elbow as an enterance to a burrow

@Serafeimink nah lol that's to add water directly to the bottom of the substrate to give a natural moisture gradient. I wouldn't normally use this setup for trapdoors because they dig under the mesh and can drown when you add water, but since these tiny dudes lived literally on a springwater stream, I figure they need alot high moisture than normal. So far they are doing great!
