My other suspect male big enough to attempt sexing.

Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens - the molt is over 8 cm in dls. Just looking for confirmation.

I figure that tiny dark spot is his "male part" (It's orange in color but it doesn't appear so in the pictures).
Needs better lighting. GBBs are a bit tricky to sex when smaller.
Unfortunately my camera automatically disables flash when set to macro. This is all the light I could provide from the side - I might try to add light from behind when it molts again. Still - I don't think spermatheca would be so tiny for a spider of this size.
 
Just to let you know what to look for in case it might be female... here's my female GBB at a slightly smaller size than yours, as far as I remember:
