      I don't know if it's only the soil that's this dark, but just in case: keep them mostly dry, even as slings. I killed one by keeping it on only slightly moist sub.

      @boina It's dark, the substrate wasn't particularly moist in the first place but I set up the enclosure and then left it open for 2 days to dry out as much as it could prior to housing as I'd heard these don't do well with moisture even as slings, same with the A. ezendami. Both enclosures are well ventilated.
