Camponotus aneopilosus

My C.aneopilosus aneopilosus colony
Oh wow, that’s cool! They don’t require substrate and do all their activities where you can observe them? I assume the large ant there is the queen? And then are those larvae, eggs and pupae below them?

they've got substrate in the outworld. the only area that is kept humid is the nest, so they stay in there. The nest is usually covered, so they don't mind staying in there. the big one is the queen, and that's the brood :)
