Definitely going to say male if it's actually 1.25" DLS. If it's under 1", then I'd be inclined to say female.
Spermatheca do develop with age, but at 1.25" it should be a literal flap. Not the shadow of what one day will be spermatheca like you've shown here. What I will say is that the darker bits show what a GBB spermatheca looks like ("alien antenna"), but only if this is a smaller specimen. What is the DLS of the molt, not the spider currently?
