Yes, I know it's synonymized as B. horrida now, but I have to say this male is the largest specimen I've ever seen in person. I'd say he's a solid 5'' which he's easily larger than my female. This male belongs to @Lucanus95 on a loan agreement. Don't worry, he's going to be of good use.
Took it with flash which hits up the colors. It's much more noticeable on mature males since he's mature than in comparison to females. I'll post a female with the flash and you'll probably notice the slight purple tinge color on them.
Mature female with flash. Probably notice purple on the back legs more than the front because this picture was taken during a feeding, so it's on its tip-toes. I assure myself 100% that I have proper and correct species before I usually breed or anything of the sort. Flash and LED sure hits up the coloration.
I have kept the species for a while and have had several MMs in the past.....t must just be the flash like you said. Flashes can do some strange things.
