Brachypelma emilia Senior Female
My lovely old girl who is likely pushing 30 at this point - maybe about 28 years old.
Do the colors darken as they get older, or is it just because she hasn't had a molt in awhile? What a gorgeous spider.

Very bold of that cricket to be sneaking up on a T with 28 years of experience :smirk:. My favorite Brachy species for sure, with their beautiful masks and boots

Wasn't expecting such long lifespan from this species. How's she doing?
Very well. Acts no differently than my younger adult female.

She is darker looking than my other two, younger, females. And bulkier.

She has a voracious appetite, that cricket wasn't in there for long.
