Brachypelma baumgarteni?

Just got this one a week ago from a local pet store as "fireleg"... thought boehmei, but looks like baumgarteni... then drats maybe a hybrid? about 3"DLS, juvie, maybe have to wait til mature?...
That hybrid has been around so long now, that the only way that you're guaranteed to get a real boehmei is to get them straight from Mexico. You need to find a dealer who is prepared to get the CITES paperwork and import them from the newly approved facilities.
Still, they are a gorgeous spider, but I understand people not wanting hybrids.

Thanks, so you think it's the hybrid? I think s/he is gorgeous for sure, so happy to care for her. Too bad the documented correct Brachypelma slings of either are so darn slow growing! Got a auratum recently so tiny I wonder if I'll see adult colors in 5 years!
