Brachypelma albopilosum

Hey guys! I’m new to the forum and new to tarantulas! Hoping to get a little help sexing out my Brachypelma albopilosum! No hooks or ‘boxing gloves’ showing. But I’m torn as to which way I’m leaning and this would be the first I’ve ever tried to sex! Let me know what you think!
@Flexzone that’s what I was thinking as well, but I’m obviously hoping it’s female so it will live longer. That also ruins my name idea of Maleficent haha

What do you think @ccTroi? Any guesses on the sex?

SIDENOTE: I have another photo that seems like a good view but I can’t figure out how to post it as a comment as I’m on an iOS device and can’t seem to get a URL for it

@RuthieH27 If you want a female real bad, I suggest you purchase about three B. albopilosum slings. That would ensure you have at least one female. They are one of the most readily available T’s today. (As a reference, two of my albos were 1/2” ten months ago, and they are now 2.5” with frequent feedings)

@ccTroi thanks for the info! I really had my heart set on a female Rosea but the expo I went to was packed and hectic, not a lot of Rose Hairs, and I fell in love with the calm of this guy! I still really want my female Rosea but this was the last step in conquering my fear of spiders and also my first T so I didn’t want to get in over my head caring for a sling! I have been considering it however, seeing how simple caring for this guy is. The plan is to stay super active on the forum and learn as much as I can before getting my next T in a couple months ☺
