Brachypelma albopilosum juvenile

B. albopilosum juvie in it's home having a little wander.
Lovely T! I love how this species always appears to be having a crazy hair day! :D

@ErinM31 Yeah! Like they rubbed their hair with a balloon or something lol. Idk about yours but mine (think it's a she) is a real sweet thing. Just lovely.

@Cordyceps I don't have one myself but I enjoy pictures of them and may get one someday. :) I do have a B. smithi sling that I'm excited to see grow and showing more of its adult colors!

@ErinM31 I have a b smithi sling too! just shed actually. They were initially probably my favourite tarantulas of all time. However the breeder I buy from didn't have any at the time I got my first ts so I got albopilosum instead. Eventually he did get a few TINY smithis and I got one.

I have a lot of favourites now lol but yeah, started with B. albopilosum because I heard they made great first t's. I've had this one since it was pretty much JUST born. I literally got it (I'm sure it's a her) a few weeks after they came out and man it's grown. You don't really notice it at first when they're small but then they start really changing. Like start adding half an inch or so when they shed. My L. parahybana I remember came out of a shed and suddenly he no longer had spindly sling legs but thick tarantula legs. Suddenly he was a force to be reckoned with.
