As you can see a bit of a flicker but once shed she will have her nice fluffy abdomen back

This is one of 3 breadies that live at my house. His name is Chompy and is so spoiled that his only hand fed or he will just watch his food crawl away and then stare at you. He falls asleep like that on the picture and you and will stay there for hours. Chompy rides on my shoulder in the car and stays out when walking around anywhere. Best part, my son has autism and Chompy is a registered service animal and go anywhere with us. Grocery stores, restaurants, government buildings, school with my son, doesn’t matter.

I was broke until about 25 then really started growing my T collection. Been there. Now I have about.. 59 ish.. but more coming today in about an hour... can’t wait.

As far as set ups go, just about everything is found that goes in the enclosure expect for the crystal clear enclosure but I get those with 40% off coupon at hobby lobby, and the substrate mix. Again, I do price matches and coupons.

I can also make enclosures at out of clear Tupperware and find stuff like that for less than .25 cents at thrift stores. So there are ways to go super cheap on set ups. Freebie slings are always out there too. Many people will sell egg sacs in bulk because there are too many slings to manage when you have 2000+ to fed every few days and no help.

Just something to think about. I have a A. Seemanni and a 2 B. Albopilosum’s that will be giving making egg sacs soon. That will be a lot of babies that have to get reduced rather quickly.

@Drea sorry to hear about your sons difficulties but verry happy to hear he can bring that georgouse beardie around with him! i would like a beardie some day for sure, just on my first t atm but would deffo like to see that grow maby someone in london will have an egg some at some point and il get a freebie :p or il maby look in exotic animal rescue shops, yeah i can imagine 2000 babies to feed would be reather intimidating timewise.

@Drea that beardie is so cute and alot better behaved then my boy if i put him on my shoulder he would run off somewhere within a couple of secounds lol but thats amazing about him being a service animal for your son hope that helps him i have afue nephews with autism and they are the brightest kids i have ever met and A. Seemanni is one of my dream T's and i have a juvenile B. Albiopilosum they are beautiful

@Wormtail39 I made sure he learned to adjust and make the most at what we are given in life and to count the blessings and hardships. He is very focused on his goals when it is important to him. He loves animals and especially inverts and reptiles. Regardless of his speech impairments and a few other things, he wants to work in a zoo and spends all his time trying to learn all he can about animals.

@Perry Barnes Chompy was like that when we first got him but my son didn’t give him a choice because he took Chompy everywhere and handled him all the time. Now, he is really to lazy/spoiled to even chase his food.

It always amazes me how smart people with autism are and how they process information. My sons memory is photo graphic and also can recall smells, temperature, and anything that has changed no matter how subtle the change was.

He collects Safari, Schleich, Mojo and Popo animal replicas. He has 1000’s of them. With a blind fold on, he can tell you which animal and what brand he is holding. We went through 200 of them and he only got one brand wrong. It made him so upset that he studied that animal in detail for a week. Even just his touch memory without anything else is genius level.

I love this species and I have been seeing much more of them lately but I still don’t see many pop up. That slow slug like growing pace probably has something to do with it. Your B. Albiceps is a cutie.

@Drea yeah she is gorgeous as you can see she has a bit of an attitude problem tho lol and i bet your son will make a great zoo keeper one day

@Drea your son was lucky to have grown up in a home with some many interesting and exotic animals!! im sure he will do verry well as a zoo keeper!!! and hobyist if he decides to take it up himself??
