Found it in tropical QLD, Aus. It was in a 30cm deep burrow, which was sort of in a mixture between rainforest and dryland. Can't see it in the picture well, but its basically all black, around 4cm in size.
looks quite like a macrothele species, seems that most funnelweb/trapdoor family groups are pretty messy atm so i doubt you could get any kind of real ID
