I'm almost sure this is a male since the epigastric furrow looks completely flat... agreed?
I guess my picture is pretty bad. I can't get a good shot, but the light colored area is definitely not raised on the molt. It's just a slight indent. I'm horrible at this though.
 
well, if you see and can feel a flap, it's a female. if there's no flap, just smooth all the way, it's a male. you can even check for yourself, just get a needle and see if you can play with the flap!
