B. smithi in defensive posture

Second time it did this to its prey. Back is darker and shinier than usual too, hopefully we're in premolt.
If you're consistently getting threat postures towards prey, it's time to stop feeding for awhile. On a spider that size and weight, I'd stop feeding for about a month and wait for a molt.

Gorgeous spider, by the way :)
