@Kayti It's no problem! Help is what the board is for Ventral sexing isn't entirely inaccurate, but there have been people who have had a very female-looking individual molt out into a MM.
As for whether it's a B. smithi... This image just makes it hard to tell, between the flash and the shine. The color looks washed out, almost white. If it's too dark right now, when you get some better lighting try to take a picture of her from the top. It'll be far easier to tell the species that way.
Where did you get this individual from that you find the species and sex so dubious? If you don't mind me asking, that is.
@Arachnophoric she was an orphan in Alaska. No one wanted her, and she was basically withering away with some guy. He moved away and was going to toss her, but I saved her. I know almost nothing about her, but I love her!!
