B. albopilosum
i think i read in a thread a while back about being able to tell the "hobby form" from the "Nicuraguan" curly hairs, and based on that thread my guess would be that this is the nicuraguan type.

Can an accurate ID be made this way or is the only safe option to consider it 'hobby form'?
and this is her future mate. As far as i can tell they are the same variety. Any thoughts, comments, or concerns are appreciated.

@Theneil looking at them is the only way we can do it without genetic testing. After looking at dozens of pictures of the two forms you eventually start to be able to distinguish them fairly easily.

@semmy juarez the hobby form is generally less fluffy than the Nicaraguan form, mostly due to impure genetics. Yours looks like the hobby form to me, but a good dorsal shot would make me a little more confident in IDing it.

@semmy juarez I should also mention that the "hobby form" is also referred to as the "Honduran" and the "Nicaraguan" form is also referred to as the "True form."
