Spent all night trying to get a good photo of this little beauty but there's really just no capturing all that fluff.
She did, however, tolerate the camera wonderfully. She is quickly becoming one of my favorites in my collection. No name yet, will most likely just end up calling her fluff.
The Nicaraguan B. albopilosum on of the best tarantulas that anyone could have. I felt in love with this species when i got my first 50, thinking of getting 50 more in the spring. I still have over 30 sub adults female, adults females, mature male and immature males.
@Exoskeleton Invertebrates They are absolutely gorgeous. I hadn't really paid much attention to them so I had only seen the hobby version until very recently
@Exoskeleton Invertebrates Gorgeous. I can't wait to see her when I get home from work. I do have a question for you though, I'm on a Facebook arachnid group and someone on there insists he can "see the B vagans" in mine, despite her shape, coloring and the curl of her hair. I don't have import papers nor do I have any information about her parents but it looks pretty clear to me that she doesn't resemble the darker, redder, less curly hobby form. I respect your opinion on the matter so I'll ask you - do you "see B vagans" in this photo of my girl?
