Avicularia sp.
S

Avicularia sp.

Purchased from pet store labeled as Guyana Pink Toe. Any Idea on a species
Plants should be at the top...floor should be clear aside from a water dish.

Floor clutter s just a hiding place for feeders, up high it acts as both cover and anchor points for webbing.

I love them at this size, they tend to be very good eaters.

It is Avicularia avicularia... BUT two morphotypes come from Guyana and share habitats so they are imported together under one label... So it could be pet trade "metallica" (Avicularia avicularia morphotype #6) or pet trade Avicularia avicularia(morphotype #1). You'll be able to tell when it gets it's adult coloration.

Looks like mine. I just posted a pic of mine. Got it for $14.99 off the shelf as a juvenile, assuming A. avicularia from Pet Paradise in Virginia Beach, VA.
