Do you see that little slit looking thing at the frontish of the abdomen? Its called a spermathecae. If you look up a picture on google of sexung tarantulas from molts you will see an image with it clearly labeled. Only the females have the spermathecae
@MadisonBoib pinktoe doesn't tell us what species of Avic your T is - it's used as a catchall common name for several arboreal species of tarantulas both in and outside of the Avicularia genus. Examples of the species would be Avicularia avicularia, Avicularia purpurea, Avicularia metallica, etc., where the genus name is used first, followed by the species name. We try to avoid the use of common names, since one can be applied to multiple species with very different needs.
