@Thekla thank you very much for giving me an example of someone with a cheap and simple enclosure, I will fix my mistake, so I will get a plastic container with everything I add inside dry and just a little cup with overflowed water and that will keep my pink toe alive and healthy , I live in Denver where it snows what can I use to keep my spider warm?
@Angelo303 Yes, you are getting a lot of conflicting information. My suggestion is to read the Avicularia care information at the thread that @Thekla posted first and take a look at some of the enclosure examples.
While Avicularia do live in more humid and tropical places, they are high in the trees where humidity is not present. They need proper airflow and ventilation more than they need humidity, although spiderlings do need more moisture than juveniles and adults. Ventilation is key with any Avicularia/Caribena/Ybyrapora species.
