Augacephalus ezendami Sling Feeding (1")
Ive found that small dubia nymphs, layed on their backs, heads crushed, but wiggling, gets by far the best response....at least for me....pinheads, real pinheads, are the next best. Pre kill mealies I use so often, I was lucky to get a 50% success rate with them.....larger crickets are rarely taken.

But that's me, others get avics to reliable take diced mealies (ungoliant), I don't.

well that confirms a lot. Mine just sets at entrance of burrow and lets crickets dance around it all day. unbelievable. looks decently plump though, maybe from the cricket it did it a couple weeks ago. I'll try some prekilled.

@cold blood Lately one of my Avic slings has showed less interest in diced mealworms. They both just molted, so I'll see if they still take diced mealworms or want something that moves more.

And yeah, I've also been feeding this sling less often but fatty meals. What it's eating in the picture is a freshly pupated mealworm (soft and gooey).
