A wafer-lid trapdoor spider found in the mountains of southern california; likely represents a species complex. easily identified by the dark color vs hesperus, which is lighter and more tan, and atomarius, which is orange-ish
I absolutely LOVE trapdoors! These look alot like my cataxia sp. ones from Australia apart from the shiny abdomen, truly they are a joy to keep
