Was just about to sign off when I saw this pic in the media feed. This is one of the lightest colored A. chalcodes I have seen in a while, very deserving of its common name. An often overlooked species IMO. If you ever pair her up w/another equally light one, let me know please.
Spider needs a molt. I wouldn't count on her staying this dull. If you feed her spiderlings captive feeders, do not release them back in the wild. There is no need to try and repopulate A. chalcodes anyway, the species is doing fine without help.
