African flat Rock scorplings

Hello my African flat Rock had babies On November 5th. Still most haven't come off her back. The couple that did, didn't make it a couple days. Any reasons why ? No info on the babies staying on the back this long either. The pic is Nov 27

awwww... they're sooo cute... it'll take years for them to grow up though, these species can live up to 30 years!
