Just thought I'd share her hard work, it's taken about 4 months to get to this scale, she has one long silk cocoon she likes to go in. Also added a cork bark tunnel for her recently which she uses. Doesn't ever seem to want to burrow... is that common for this sp?
I own 2 slings. From all the vids/pics I've seen, plus posts, they all seem to burrow is my impression, at all life stages. However, mine make webbing patterns just likes yours, from the sub surface upwards, like a cloud of web.
@viper69 Awww that's adorable I wish I had seen this behaviour with a little sling, mine was already a sub-adult when my friend unfortunately had to give her away due to family circumstances. I intentionally gave her a solid 6 inches of substrate to burrow into... but the most she's done is kind of terraform the surface a bit. Regardless it makes for a nice display T, I thought I'd be staring into a hole like I do with my C. lividus ;-;
