Recently moulted juvenile Giant Mexican Tailless Whipspider
Fantastic shot of a fantastic whip!! I was going to ask where you managed to find some but I see you're in Canada... Maybe someday they'll pop up in the US .

@Sarkhan42 Thanks bro! Yeah, super lucky to have 2 Amblypygi breeders up here welling to sell them -- I think Tom Patterson if I'm not mistaken has a couple in his collection, hopefully hes able to sell some babies in the future ;-)

Geez guy gets a camera and next thing you know he thinks he can take pictures! :troll:

One of the best you have taken!:D

@Flexzone Man, you have improved so much over the years, it's really impressive to me. The only thing that could have been better, is if you did focus stacking to catch the abdomen in focus. Are you doing that yet? You should. Aside from that, this is a gorgeous pic. You really should enter it in next year's Nikon Small Word contest.

@viper69 Very kind sentiments, my man! For the most part the majority of my shots are single shots, I have done 2 or 3 stacked images in the past -- If I'm in the mood I may try some in the coming months ;-)

@Flexzone Focus stacking will give you an incredible image provided you have the time and patience to do it. Of course, a focus stacker is needed too.
