Haha, sounds like you're in good shape then. Sometimes you'll find one of those psycho new worlds that didn't get the memo they were supposed to be the more docile ones of their kind.

My two P. metallica slings are both angry little things and have given me more threat poses than the rest of my collection combined. They're not even 3" yet. Funny little scamps, lol.

Duly noted. You came to the right place for solid information on tarantulas, Arachnoboards is the one source I'd recommend to anyone as misinformation is quick to get called out/corrected and there's always a plethora of people who're willing to answer any questions you may have. :)

@Arachnophoric oh absolutely lol. I love my metallicas. I tell ya though, the one I fear getting bigger is my HMAC! It’s already extremely feisty, so I’m sure that’ll only grow exponentially in the next few years.

@ThatSpooderGuy555 You think those are bad, try out Stromatopelma calceatum. My immature male is like an H. mac on crack. I'm eternally grateful that my 5.5" female set herself up in her wood round and doesn't venture out except to shoot poop on the door of the enclosure and drink water. A double-edged sword, because she sure is gorgeous and a treat to see.

@Arachnophoric oh wow really? That’s pretty hilarious! I actually have one of those too... it’s a spiderling at this point, so all it does is hide under its water dish, or inside of a pinhole in the cork.
