A.Geniculata HELP!!
I am new in this hobby and this is my first tarantula. He/she is a week old, how long is my a.genic will be molt.
What stage of instar is it.
I could be wrong but that substrate looks super wet. I know slings need thing more humid but that could be overkill

@Burdaorig Knowing which instar it is not possible without keeping detailed records since it emerged. Fortunately, knowing the instar is not necessary.

I feed my slings mealworm chunks or dubia roach nymphs about once a week. You can't overfeed a sling. Its goal is to eat and grow out of the vulnerable sling stage as quickly as possible.

This species eats well and grows at a decent rate. Below are the molt records for my male, who was 0.5" when I got him on 1/4/2017:
  • 1/30/2017: 0.75"
  • 3/16/2017: 1.25"
  • 5/13/2017: 1.75"
  • 7/11/2017: 2"
  • 10/6/2017: 2.5"
  • 12/20/2017: 3"
  • 6/11/2018: 3.5"
  • 11/24/2018: 3.75"
  • 6/20/2019: 4"

I second @Ungoliant 's comment. It sounds like it's eating pretty well. If the substrate it wet, you might want to keep it a little bit dryer (I only wet 25% of the substrate), but IMO I think you're fine so far. It should grow very fast.
