A.Geniculata HELP!!
I am new in this hobby and this is my first tarantula. He/she is a week old, how long is my a.genic will be molt.
What stage of instar is it.
Don’t feed it too much, I’ve had my tarantula overeat once and it was not pretty. It could hardly walk it was so far and had a really hard time moving around. Kinda weird.

Depending on the size you could feed fruit flies, crickets (don’t leave them in there as they can harm the tarantula), small red runner roaches, and small mealworms(don’t leave those in there either)

Worm is still OK if you have difficult access to fruit flies, baby crickets. To be 100% safe, you can also pre-kill the worm before feeding your sling. Your sling of that size will typically molt about once a month. Just keep a record. From the photo, your substrate is way too wet. You can throw in a small water dish or just wet a small portion of the substrate. NOT wet the whole substrate. Suggest you change your substrate or rehouse into dry substrate.
