I had a little tub with mealworms that I allowed to mature. Those beetles were really fascinating to watch. I saw a bunch of tiny baby mealworms in there but they all sadly died when Hurricane Harvey hit

I see this happening in my near future. Does it smell much? Not that that will dissuade me lol. Being cheap+raising more bugs > spending money

I'm trying this with Super-worms right now. So for I just have a few adults, but hopefully this will be in my future as well.

@Marika Looks to me like somebody needs a reptile or something to cull the herd. XD

Throw a bunch of them while still alive in the freezer. Then the next day fry them up in a pan with butter and garlic until crispy. Taste awesome.........No lie.

@Orionoid They do smell a bit, yeah. I keep them in a closet so the smell doesn't bother me that much.
