Yes. Not full-blown, fangs out, though. She'll just slap the ground, and maybe kick a few hairs. She's mellowed out quite a bit since her last molt (and gotten a bit darker, too).
She was sold to me as an A. chalcodes, but someone else suggested she might actually be a gabeli. I wanted some more opinions.
I'm with @AZ Tom on Aphonopelma gabeli. Those huge chelicerae is one way to distinguish A. gabeli from A. chalcodes if there is no obvious black triangle "mask" over the front of the carapace (the caput to be specific).
