I know it's extremely unlikely to get a 100% positive ID with Avics, but I have to at least try to figure him out. He's a big, beautiful boy and I'd hate to see him go to waste. I'll add more pics in a bit
@Dovey it's not a metallica because a while back the Avicularia genus was revised a bit and many "species" (including A. metallica) were determined to be just morphotypes of A. avicularia for the time being. The morphs are a bit confusing to me, but I believe the metallica is what is currently morph #6.
@CEC Great! So there should be no issues with trying to loan him out or sell him (only to someone with another morph #6)? I'd really love to give this guy a shot at helping the CB population.
