@0311usmc Yea I noticed that too. I don’t remember where I heard this, but someone once told me that C. minax doesn’t have the pattern on their abdomen, or patella, I honestly don’t remember which. The stripes may not be visible because her abdomen is a bit roughed up, but I’ll wait for a molt to confirm.

Either way it's still an impressive looking tarantula buddy. I'm not even 100 percent sure mine is a minax and not some minax vonworthi hybrid. I just know mine is black as night and loves her burrow. I don't see mine much at all and in fact probably my most reclusive tarantula in my collection
