4" Poecilotheria metallica. M or F?
Bought it for an insanely good deal. What does everyone think?
I'm a novice so I would wait for a more skilled individual to give their take @arachnidgill but this specimen appears to be a male.

What price did you manage to snag it at?

I'm no expert on Poecilotheria, but that does look very male to me. And, at that size, they are possibly penultimate.

@slowburn Could be the reason you got it for so cheap. If what @VanessaS said is true, you might have him for a few years but they usually don't last long after the penultimate molt, if that is indeed the case. You could try to find someone who has a female and go for a breeding attempt, and maybe get some slings out of it!

Yes, for $30, someone knew that it was male. This gets filed under... "If it seems too good to be true, it likely is."

@VanessaS I bought it as a suspected male, the kid I bought it from had a molt but it was pretty chewed up. Figured I'd take the gamble for $30. Even male metallica are worth plenty more than that..
