Male or female avicularia about 3-3.5 inch
@MiaPow Which species of Avicularia is this? (Please identify the species with each post, even if it seems obvious to you.)
 
Lmao Show me the way, I’m just a grasshopper teach me how do you know it’s a female. What tells you this based off the picture?
 
Avicularia are quite easy to sex imo. Very noticeable spermatheca (a "flap" like sex organ on a female), between the top set of book lungs.
 
Trimac, do you mean to say that you would look for the spermathecae on the interior of a molt to sex the T? Because I believe what you're talking about cannot be seen externally. The "flap" is the uterus externus, with the "horns" being the spermathecae... and these are internal structures. They are shed with the exuvia so that they can only be seen on the interior a female's molt.
