Live plants require too much water. This species thrives with relatively dry conditions - the water dish you have in there, a few drops of water on the webbing once a week for it to drink from, fake plants in the top half of the enclosure for it to hide in, and dry substrate is all you need. Too much moisture will lead to stagnant air, which will kill them quickly. See this thread for great advice on keeping this species:
