I believe there is a (mini) spermatheca (not 100% sure)... so female.. google für M.balfouri spermathecas, maybe you can then recognize it better..

@WolleWolf I see what you're looking at, but I'm not sure if they're spermathecae or just male accessory organs.

I saw him making a sperm web today, so mystery solved.
