2” Grammostola Pulchra

It is so hard sometimes!! On the other image of the other g pulchra, there is a small bald spot that appears between the top booklungs. Thats the only reason I think it’s a male, especially compared to this specimen which is lacking that bald spot, and has a differently shaped furrow.

lol thanks for explaining that!! I also have a tiny 2 inch G pulchra named Ronnie Radke now I’m gonna take a peek and see! It’s crazy I don’t even notice those little subtleties great eye💕

Of course! Oooooo let me know what you see!! It also helps that I just ungraded to an iPhone 15 pro max which takes reallllly good closeup shots, and shows me way better detail than any camera I’ve ever had. I just wait for my spiders to hang out against the wall and I put my phone camera really close to the enclosure. I usually take a video with the flashlight on, and take screenshots from the video (for some reason the video usually is more clear than taking photos alone). Thank you!!!

That’s what everyone says!! I have the 14 pro max and I can’t get my video to focus unless I do wide lens and then I can’t get close😭 maybe I’ll just try a pic if I can’t do it. Aren’t they the cutest babies? Do both of yours do yoga moves all day💕

Aww, dang, that's so frustrating :( Yeah, try your best! You could also buy a handheld digital microscope from Amazon. My handheld one connects to my phone via an app and I can get it really close to the spider as they hang out on the side of the enclosure to get a really close up picture. They are the cutest babies! They do; they're still new to their enclosures so they're still exploring and figuring out where they are. But they're doing great.
