This looks quite obviously female to me, but....... it doesn't seem to match the images of spermathecae for the P. sazimai I see here. Could I have another genus entirely?
As @Charliemum said above, the actual spermathecae are likely behind the flap (uterus externus). Here's an example where you can see them through the flap because it's a little more translucent than yours is:

Shining a backlight through the molt, I sure can't see the spermathecae as in the photo above, hence being puzzled. But the presence of the "flap" is enough to sex it female, whichever genus it is... right?

Now that I look at it more closely, that sure looks like Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens (GBB). Somebody pulled the ole switcheroo on you...
Here's one a little bigger than yours, but you can see the spermathecae/uterus externus are the same shape - like a tongue with a darker part at the tip. The dark color on the inside of the exuvia gives it away, too.
I thought that, not coz of spermatheca but because of the ginger hair on the abdomen and how blue the leg is but I assumed it was lighting n I was wrong with sazis getting the red abdomen floof. I should have more confidence in myself I wouldn't care but I have females of both sp it's gunna be one of those days

I knew it. This is a very skittish lady, as all my GBBs have been, historically. Forget trying to handle it, and I recall that the P. sazimai is typically docile. Yes? I just looked at my records, and this came from M&T Exotics as a "freebie" labeled as "Pterinopelma sazimai Brazilian Blue tarantula". Ahem. That's lame.

Definitely not what they said it was, but it could be worse than a female GBB. I don't know about sazimai being docile - everything I've seen and heard about them suggests they can be ornery. I have one that I got as a freebie, too, but it's just a tiny sling right now, so can't say from personal experience yet.

I think I need to revise my ID. This is not a GBB... I just got it out of its burrow and its abdomen is clearly covered in darker red hairs than GBB has, and its carapace isn't the telltale green. It DOES, indeed, look like a P. sazimai, so perhaps there are variations of it with differing spermathecae? Also, I've never had a GBB that preferred to live in a burrow.
