Is it more obvious on some species more than others? Because my L. Parahybana you could quite clearly see the "ears" at 2", but I'm looking at my B. Hamorii at 3" and its not clear to me at all

My B hamorii's spermathecae were quite visible by my recollection and she is a little over 2". I don't think they were as dark as the one above, though. let me see if I can track down the picture I took.
