Hey @The Grym Reaper .
Would you do a quick overview on how you keep this animal,temp,moisture for people scared of keeping this species of Megaphonema.Thanks.
@mack1855
If it helps, I have this species. I keep her the same way I keep all mine (approx 250) temps are controlled in my converted garage to be about 23°c during the day and 19°c at night. I keep my mesomeles on a slightly more damper environment than most others that typically have dry substrate but like all my Ts, large water dishes available, and cross ventilatuon.
The mesomeles is on the lower shelving area so temps may be one or two degrees lower but nothing really significant. I think its important to remember that if you are comfortable, the spider will be. 32 years I have applied those basic rules* and never had any issues
Hope that helps any fears others have about safely keeping this gorgeous species.
*obviously species like Therophosa I also keep in a more moisture rich environment

I believe I've gone over their care in several threads in the years since I got her but they're not particularly difficult IME, I just keep the sub moist and she's kept at the same temperature as the rest of my collection (22°C -25°C in winter and trhen whatever temps we get in the summer, I've never done anything special regarding temps in the summer), she survived a 3 day heatwave last summer in which temps in my room didn't drop below 30°C, she didn't even burrow.
I've never been a fan of this rule for the reason that different people are comfortable at different temperatures. I could comfortably sit in a freezer in shorts and a T-shirt whereas anything over 25°C turns me into a gigantic sweating rage monster. The vast majority of species are fine kept anywhere between 18°C - 33°C.

True, I am the same T shirts whatever the time of year. My main point was anything about 22/23°c is fine for virtually all spiders I have ever had the privilege of owning.
