Skittish and kinda defensive (not sure if they're normally like that or if my curse of weirdo tarantulas is doing its thing), also a bit of a pet hole (pretty sure that's normal for Cyriocosmus though).

Wow, really pretty. I've never been into dwarf Ts, but some of the photos lately have really interested me. These little guys are gorgeous and really colorful.

Not into small Ts are you, tha's plain CRAZY talk. You can fit more Ts per volume of space with the small ones in your room. If you aren't into small Ts due to that advantage alone, you aren't dedicated to the cause at all. Your collection will be confiscated soon, trust me.
For a semi-dwarf I seriously suggest N. incei, they are EXCITING.

Funny you mentioned that, because I'm actually contemplating getting one! Everyone I talk to who has them absolutely loves them. And they're really pretty. I saw one in a shop a few months ago and was intrigued by its copious webbing. I might just give it a shot.

I passed on them for over a decade. Then picked up 5, normal and golds, same sac from @cold blood best purchase I made. Heavy webbers, EXTENSIVE burrows. Basically you drop a cricket in and it's like whack a mole in there. They are ferocious eaters, plump up faster. Perfect for new owners that are helicopter parents. Not saying you are one.
