What a beauty ! Interesting note about the calm demeanor, Stan's TKG would have us believe that they are quite bitey. Good to know that those were likely rare incidents.

She's the only one in my collection that I've ever handled - I had to scoop her up and replace her in the enclosure when she decided to go for a walkabout one day, and I felt confident that I could do it without a catch cup. She's definitely been more curious than cantankerous!
Lovely Luna indeed. I see pictures of this species where the 'grey' segments of their legs appear very prominent when contrasted against the gold parts, and others where they are more washed out and the spider almost looks gold all over. Out of curiosity, what would you say yours is like in person, and have you seen others at any point (IRL) that had drastically different color schemes from your own?

She looks pretty blonde in person right now, and the bands on her legs are darker than they show in the photo (I think the flash kind of washed them out). I've seen these with an almost orange all-over coloration and black leg bands, which I think is more how she'll look when she finally molts (I've had her for about 16 months and she hasn't molted yet), and I've seen them more gold/blonde with almost no banding on the legs. I think the leg bands are absent in younger specimens and start to show up as they get bigger.

Mine was an Amber colour with no stripes and not chilled at all but after I bought her off my SO I found out she was wild caught which could account for her attitude. She unfortunately passed away 2 weeks ago , I couldn't find anything wrong with her, I think she was just an old girl she was already an af when my SO bought her . A lovely sp though I would definitely recommend them if your thinking about getting one.
