Zoo Med terrarium moss

Has anyone used Zoo Med terrarium moss with ill effects? Someone on Facebook just said it’s been treated to kill insects, but I hadn’t heard that.

I've been using it for 2 years right now and all my T's are doing fine. Whoever said it's been treated to kill insects makes absolutely no sense. Why would anyone make such a lethal product for animals??

Kinda what @Liquifin said, plus also- a treatment to kill insects doesn't necessarily mean nasty chemical insecticide or whatever harmful thing that could leave residues behind.
It could have been heat treated, cold treated, light wave treated, or whatever. There are treatment methods that don't necessarily leave behind any traces of anything harmful.

But thanks for actually investigating before you jump on the rumor train and start spreading misinformation!
